Card Club Information for November
Our November card club will be held on Friday night the 6th at 7pm. At our last card club someone asked if we could make something that could be given as a gift since the holidays are coming up. I put together this note card holder with matching notecards inside. It's a black and white themed set and will left sentiment free so that they can be used for any occasion. Please remember that space is limited so contact me if you plan on attending no later than Nov 1st.

Christmas tags
I was in one of those crafting moods today but didn't feel like making a card or scapbooking. I wanted to try out a stamp that I haven't used yet so I used this mitten from this Christmas set by Stampin up. I stamped it with clear embossing ink and embossed it with red embossing tinsel. I then cut out 2 for each tag and connected them with some twine and dimensionals. I cut the scallop circles in 3 1/2 inches using my mini monograms cartridge and my cricut. I did th 3" circles in this really cute holiday paper that I found in the target dollar bins last year. I added the to & from to the backs and added twine again for the ties. I've added this set to my etsy store.

Hayley's Party Invitations
My daughter Hayley is turning 11 and is having a sleepover party with her friends. Since there were only a few girls coming, I decided to make the invitations myself. The size of this card is 3 1/2 x 6 1/4. The papers that I used on these cards all came from the same DCWV mat pack. Even the butterflies were on a page in the pack and I cut them out. I used dimentionals on them to make them pop. I used the Martha Stewart lattice punch to the bottom edge. I tried this somewhat of a new technique by adding a window sheet. I just sliced a middle section out of the card. Stamped my sentiment on the inside paper and added the window sheet to the cover. I think that it turned out really nice.

Card Club
I figured that I would post October's card club. Friday October 16th will be our next card club at 7pm. I will be posting a picture of the project that we'll be making as soon as I have a sample done. I hope that you enjoyed last month's project and Vicky sent me pictures of her final album before sending it out as a gift to someone. Thanks Vicky, It looks awsome! If you need any information of card club you can see it right on the left bar of my blog and if you have any questions, you can just click on contact me and send me a message. I'll be in touch soon.

What a surprise I got when I was told that I was nominated for the kreativ blogger award by Jenn. I certainly wasn't expecting this. She was actually my first blog that I started following and the reason that I created one myself. Thanks Jenn!!
In order to accept the award I have to 1. Thank the person who nominated me for this award. 2. Copy the logo and place it on my blog. 3. Link the person who nominated me for this award. 4. Name seven things about me that people might find interesting. 5. Nominate seven Kreativ Bloggers. 6. Post links to the seven blogs I nominate. 7. Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge
Yes it's true, I had to take my card outside to take a picture. This card is for the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge and the deadline is in a few hours. The sun has already gone down and I had no more natural light in the house. I had to take it out to the front steps. The cardstock base was embossed with the cuttlebug D'vine Swirls folder. The olive green cardstock was also embossed with the "just my type" border set. The paper in the 3 circles are from a handmade paper pack that I picked up a couple of years ago of pressed leaves. A button, prima flowers and a congrats stamp finish off this card. Let me know what you think.
