Ombré

Love this combination of pink pirouette into strawberry slush.  I did the emboss resist to keep my design from getting covered.  It worked out perfect.

Gorgeous Grundge

I can't believe that I just bought this set last month.  Everyone was telling me how awesome it was and for some strange reason I waited 8 months to get it.  It's one if the new sets in the 2013-2014 catalog.

New Baby

Baby number 13 was born in my family today.  My sister Gave birth to a beautiful baby girl yesterday.  We are going to see her tomorrow so I had to make a card to go along with her gift.
The 2 big butterflies represent the 2 big sisters (Maddie & Emma) and the little one is new baby Shea.

Valentines day cards 2014

Of course I made cards for my girls and husband.  I try to find 1 cute design and do a different color for each one.  I would be sitting there forever trying to get some inspiration if I had to do all different cards.

And here is my husbands card.  Simply stated.  I love to keep them that way for him and do all the cutsie stuff for the girls.
I love you is handwritten across the top with a white gel pen.  I love the way it turned out.

Minion mania

I don't know why but I always get the best inspiration when it's time to make my nephew Markis' birthday card.  Super easy and super cute.   Daffodil delight is the perfect shade of yellow for this little guy.

Some old and some new

My god daughter Madison is turning 12 next week and no longer can make her the cutie little cards that I used to make her.  After all,  she's a tween now.  I dug out some of my retired stamps thy work perfect for this age group.  Extreme guitar and extreme elements.  I added the new positively chevron background stamp (my new favorite background).  I'm sure she will like it since it's filled with sparkle.

Ok,  So......I was just going through my Stampin Up! catalog and holiday catalog trying to make my list for my October 1st order.  I know that I'm a few weeks early but if I don't get my items keyed into the computer early when everything is fresh in my brain, I will end up forgetting to order something.  With that being said,  I was going through the holiday catalog and saw this!  I have never ordered any of SU's kits before and never paid much attention to them but this one caught my eye.  It's the Stamp a Tag Kit for $10.95.    It comes with everything you need to make 24 gift tags including your tags, 2 stamps, 1 cherry cobbler stampin spot and 1 old olive stampin spot and bakers twine in oth of those colors.  It all comes packaged so nice and neat as you see it in the photo below.  I'm going to get it for myself but it's a perfect gift.

Happy Birthday Emma

Wow,  what a surprise!  Another birthday in my family.  He he.  I love this huge family I have and now we just found out that we have another one on the way.  That will make 13 grand kids for my parents.  The grown ups are so outnumbered.  I have 2 nieces that celebrate birthdays today.  Emma and Adryanna.  Emma had her birthday party this past weekend and this is her card. I was going to get rid of my petal punch but I'm glad I didn't because then I wouldn't be able to make cards like this anymore.

Mustache Mania

I just love these cute mustaches!  My friends Brian and Lisa had a first Birthday party for their son Brody this past weekend.  I literally only made his card the morning of the party.  I sat there for a while and no ideas came to me.  I even did a search on the Internet for some boy cards and still had no juices flowing.  Then I thought about the mustache invitation that I have in my Etsy shop.  I turned it into a great boy card.  Can you tell that I took this photo in the car on our way to the party. Lol, nothing like waiting until the last minute.

Here's a photo of the girly version that I have on my shop.

New Birthday or Bat mitzvah invitation

Here a new item to my shop.  I added it as a bat mitzvah invitation but the wording and colors can be changed around for any female birthday.

Starfish Birthday

My sister Patty had a birthday this month.  I was really stumped on what to do for her because I thought I had already used up all my fabulous girly card idea on her in the past.  This one wasn't too girly ( except for the dazzling diamonds) but it was a nice intro to summer.  I Love this starfish and I use it a lot in my etsy shop.
The colors used were soft and went well together.

Card stock layers- wisteria wonder & pool party and white

Ink colors- wisteria wonder, pool party, river rock & Sahara sand

Stamp set- by the Sea

Accessories- ribbon (michaels), pearl (michaels)

Special Occasion Menus

Here we go.  I said in my last post that I would start posting some of my newer items from my shop here on my blog since its pretty much all I've been doing.  Here is a 5x7 menu that is great to have on your tables or on everyone's plates at a dinner reception.

I will be busy in my stamp room today though because I do have to get all my summer birthday cards done.  Thank goodness I am all caught up with etsy orders.  I'll post those cards soon.

Happy Fathers Day

It's been a while.  I know.  It's busy a busy season for wedding invitations and thank you's at my Etsy shop.  I know, that's not a good excuse but its all I've got.  I've decided to start posting my listing as I create them in this blog as well since its what I've been spending so much time on.  For today, I'll post the Father's Day card that I made or my husband.

Another Male Birthday card

Again I had to make a masculine card and the open sea is always a go to set. Every time I think that I'm caught up making cards, another event comes up. I should be getting a lot more done when I go to visit my friend Margaret's scrap room on Friday morning.

6 Little Monkeys

I can't even tell you how behind I am with all my card making. My BF and I said that we were going to get together every other week or so and make cards in advance so that we would never be under the gun to get them done, and has that happened??? NOOOO! We could be in one if our scrap rooms together for 4 hours straight and we will be lucky if we each get 2 cards done. I have 4 nieces and nephews celebrating birthdays in February so I'm trying to get those done before starting on my valentines day cards. This card is for my nephew Markis.
This cute little monkey comes from the retired set fox & friends. Great for any little kids card and perfect for our little monkey Markis.

Dads birthday card

I just hate it when you finally get some time to be in your scraprooms and no inspiration is to be found. The soccer balls were a must for my dad because that's his favorite sport and when Stampin up came out with the great sport stamp set I figured it would be perfect for all the sports fans in my life.
