Here I am. Finally got back on my blog. I've been enjoying the nice weather we have been having around here and not spending too much time stamping. I do have 1 card to show you though. It's a birthday card that I made for my best friend Margaret for her birthday. It was made using the new blossom punch in the mini going on right now with the stamp set to match. I then cut a V out of the top and bottom of the flower to create the butterfly. I also did the rock and roll technique to give this little guy 2 different colors. I have to admit that I did get this idea from the mini catalog but after all, it's that card that got me to buy the set. Don't forget that the very large retire list from Stampin up! is out right now and if you need any of those items before their gone, be sure to order them. I'm doing a group order on 5/5 so if you would like to order with us, please send me your order before then. The last day for the retire list is 5/31 and the new catalog comes out 6/1. Also, If anyone wants a copy of the new catalog please let me know because I will be ordering them on 5/5 also. They will be $3 each.

My Paper Scrap Storage
I thought that I'd share how I store all of my scraps of card stock. This is a binder of just Stampin Up! scraps but you can make one of these for each of your paper types.
This method works wonderful for me and I don't have any wasted scraps anymore.
I start with the Stampin up! round tab punch
When I get a scrap, I punch out that color and staple it to a page protector (found at staples)
Then I add it to a binder that you can organize any way that's easy for you
I then found the RGB color codes for the current SU colors online and slid it under the clear binder cover
