November Card Club

I just wanted to announce that November's card club will be held on Friday the 18th.  It's going to be Christmas themed.  This is always my favorite card club because I love making Holiday items.  So much fun and looks so great around the house.  Hope you can make it!  Please let me know as soon as possible because I already got some rsvp's for this night and I limited space.

What we made at Card Club last night

Last night I had a Halloween themed card club.  Here are photos of what we made.  I hope you all had fun!

Masculine Card with my Scraps

This is a card that I made for my Husband's Birthday.  I'm always saying that it's a challenge to make a masculine card because I don't get to use any of my pretty flowers and butterflies but I'm pretty happy with the way this one came out.  I used the mosaic embossing folder on the piece of Night of Navy and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  The leaves used is from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set from Stampin Up!.  All of the other papers are just scraps,  Card base-river rock, Top layer Misc. designer paper, and banner is certainly Celery.  The sentiment came from one of our newest hostess sets called Birthday Wishes (I think???) and I added a little liquid pearls. 

October Card Club

Now that it's officially October,  I figured that I would send out a reminder for this month's card club.  It's going to be a Halloween/Fall theme.  We'll do 1 home decor project and 2 cards.  It's on 10/14/11 at 7pm.  Please let me know if you'll be attending since my space is limited.  Thanks
