Luke's 1st Birthday card

I'm still working on my next sketch challenge card so I'm not ready to post it yet, so I decided to post a card that I made for my nephews first birthday. It was a cowboy themed party and she even have 2 horses come by to give the kids rides around the yard. It was a big hit. I knew that I wanted to use this red gingham paper on the card because it reminded me of a bandanna. I also used some star punches and punched out some chipboard that I colored with some ink pads. I cut out a number 1 with my cricut (george basics) and glittered it by using my zip 2 way glue pen. I needed something else for the card, I looked around my scrap room and up on my cork boards where I keep all my stickers I saw a K and company heritage set that I picked up a long time ago at a building 19 store. They were so cute that I figured that I would use them someday. That little cowboy on the horse was perfect. It's also an embossed sticker so it gave the card a nice dimension. Super cute boy card.
